Are We a Good Fit?

If you want to be fully present in your day, soaking in each moment and trusting that it is all being documented beautifully, we might be the perfect match. If you care less about stiff poses and more about the feeling of a moment, if you want to remember your wedding day or session by how it felt rather than how it looked, if you are drawn to doing things in a way that feels true to you even when it is not the traditional route, then we will get along just fine.

At South of June, the focus is always you. Whether it is your wedding day or a one hour session, I want you to feel free, comfortable, and completely yourself. No pressure. No stress. Just an experience that feels easeful, warm, and enjoyable from beginning to end. You are important to us, and our purpose is to create something that feels just as meaningful as the moments we are capturing.

What we do.

  • So much life has brought you to this moment—individual journeys, shared experiences, and all the little twists and turns in between. Your story deserves to be honored, captured in a way that carries the warmth of nostalgia while holding a beautiful, tangible hope for everything still to come.

Let us show you how we can preserve it—artfully, honestly, and in a way that feels uniquely you.

  • Life moves fast—sometimes in ways we expect, and other times in ways we never see coming. No matter the season, one thing remains true: these moments are fleeting, and they deserve to be preserved.

Too often, we wait for something big to feel worthy of documenting—a milestone, an occasion, a reason. But the truth is, the most ordinary days can become the ones we long to remember most. I’ve been guilty of this myself, only to look back and wish I had taken the time to capture the in-between moments, the quiet transitions, the chapters that shaped me.

Let’s not wait for someday—let’s celebrate now.

  • So, you’re thinking about stepping away from tradition and creating a wedding day that feels fully you. Let me just say—I admire that more than words can express, and I’d love to be a part of your vision.

Intimate weddings typically include 20 guests or fewer, with up to four hours of coverage. But if your celebration looks a little different, let’s talk. Together, we’ll find the perfect way to document your day exactly as it’s meant to be—authentic, meaningful, and completely yours.

"Stop searching for a photographer! I can’t recommend Aysia and her team enough—they are truly AMAZING. Due to a family emergency, our original wedding plans fell apart, but the silver lining was finding South of June, who immediately jumped in to photograph our intimate ceremony and elopement at my grandparents' ranch, deep in the heart of nowhere.

Aysia was not only easy to work with, but also incredibly flexible and open to all of my wild ideas. And the results? Absolutely breathtaking. I’ve never seen my family’s ranch look so magical and perfect for a wedding. Aysia and her team have an undeniable talent when it comes to photography, and my husband and I are still in awe of the photos. It’s nearly impossible to choose our favorites because there are just so many!"
